Autoimmune Inner Ear Disease

Autoimmune inner ear disease (AIED) is a characteristic of inner ear problem in which the body’s immune system by mistake attacks its inner ear. Here, the patient will experience considerable hearing loss, which will block him or her from the fullness of the usual day-to-day activities.
There will be a ‘missing feel’ somewhere, and this will be a practical hindrance as far as the free movement of the individual is concerned. Apart from the continuously increasing hearing loss, there will be the unusual experience of hissing, ringing, or roaring sound in the ear.
Causes of Autoimmune Inner Ear Disease:
The causes include hereditary factors, damages that occur to the inner ear parts, or the excess production of antibodies.
Symptoms of Autoimmune Inner Ear Disease:
The hearing loss will have a constant nature and the intensity will get increased from time to time. In many cases, the symptoms of the ‘Balance Disorder’ may seem visible. The patient will have dizziness, fullness in the ear, tinnitus, and vertigo. Get checked by the ENT specialist that helps to lower the symptoms of the disease.
