Otosclerosis is characterized by abnormal growth of bone in the middle ear. This bone intrudes the structures within the ear from working properly and causing hearing loss.
The indications of otosclerosis include ringing/ hissing in the ears, dizziness, hearing loss, etc. The ENT specialist will evaluate you and go for Stapedectomy procedure to rectify this condition.
